At Home Activities for Children:



  • Both of our preschool programs, Centro VIDA and La Academia de Bahia, have been participants of the Healthy Me Kids (Saludable Soy) Music and Movement Program.  Their music is available on the following links, your children will love and recognize the music! We have linked their website for more information. 














Free play:


    • 2 Cups Flour

    • 1 Cup Salt

    • 2 Tablespoons Cream Tart

    • 2 Cups Water

    • 1 Tablespoon oil


Mix ingredients. Cook over medium heat while stirring constantly until stiff.  Let cool and knead.  Store in Ziploc bag or plastic container with lid. 


  • Reading bilingual books

  • Well-known children's stories translated into Spanish and spoken by a native Spanish speaker. Great for kids... and adults too! Read along in Spanish or English.

Juego Libre:


    • 2 tazas de harina

    • 1 taza de sal

    • 2 cucharadas de tarta de crema

    • 2 tazas de agua

    • 1 cucharada de aceite


Mezclar ingredientes. Cocine a fuego medio mientras revuelve constantemente hasta que esté firme. Dejar enfriar y amasar. Almacenar en una bolsa Ziploc o recipiente de plástico con tapa.


  • Leer libros bilingües

  • Conocidos cuentos infantiles traducidos al español y hablados por un hablante nativo de español. ¡Ideal para niños ... y adultos también! Leer en español o inglés.
