BAHIA Inc. is funded by the California State Department of Education Child Development Division, City of Berkeley, First Five of Alameda County, Child and Adult Care Food Program, tuition and generous funding from local foundations.

BAHIA relies heavily on the generosity of the state and government agencies to cover its operating costs. Currently, costs are covered with funding from the State Department of Education Child Development Division, City of Berkeley, and Child Care Food Program. In addition, some parents pay full cost fees.
