How you can
help
Bay Area
Hispano Institute for Advancement, Inc. is a private, non-profit
corporation 501(c)3. BAHIA primarily serves low-income Hispanic
families in Northern Alameda County.
BAHIA
relies heavily on the generosity of the state and government agencies
to cover its operating costs. Currently, costs are covered with
funding from the State Department of Education Child Development
Division, City of Berkeley, and Child Care Food Program. In addition,
some parents pay full cost fees.
Please
remember BAHIA in your employer’s United Way Campaign. Our
United Way designation number is 3029. Or consider us for the eScrip
program Group ID#141743217. Visit www.escrip.com for more information.
Annual fundraisers are held throughout the year to cover the expenses
of special classes (e.g., swimming, sports, music) or special instructional
supplies.
